Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will demonstrate most of the following:
- PHP – Laravel (or similar) experience
- HTML – Semantic and accessible mark-up
- CSS – Frameworks/Methodologies such as SASS, BEM, Bootstrap, etc. and modern CSS
- JavaScript – Modern vanilla JavaScript (ES2015+) and any of the main frameworks/libraries (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
- Common design principles/patterns/paradigms – Microservices, MVC, REST, OO etc.
- AWS ecosystem – S3, EC2, RDS, etc.
- Database development – Ability to write SQL and to optimise and maintain relational databases
- Development lifecycle concerns – Source control, CI pipelines, deployments, various AWS solutions
- Testing – Unit, integration and end-to-end
- Agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, Lean and facets of Extreme Programming
Our current stacks comprise PHP/Laravel on AWS with Aurora/MySQL with JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.
The successful candidate will be working closely with stakeholders to implement the roadmap and to refine future features.
