FINTRAC registration
UQG Ltd. has applied to register with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) as a money services business. Until that registration is complete, UQG Ltd. does not provide services to anyone in Canada and is not accepting applications from Canadian residents.
Intended services
Once registered, UQG Ltd. intends to offer clients in Canada:
- foreign exchange;
- money transfers; and
- buying and selling virtual currencies, delivered to a wallet the client controls. UQG Ltd. will not hold virtual currency on clients’ behalf.
A separate company
UQG Ltd. (Canada) is a separate company from UQG Ltd (Cyprus, registration number HE410562), which provides the uQualify services described elsewhere on this website. The services, wallets, regulatory status and protections described on other pages are provided by UQG Ltd (Cyprus) and are not available in Canada.
