Cookie Policy
How uqualify.co uses cookies and similar technologies.
Draft for review by UQG Ltd and its legal and compliance advisers before publication.
This policy explains how UQG Ltd, trading as uQualify©, uses cookies and similar technologies on uqualify.co and our related websites. It should be read with our privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser "local storage" and "session storage", let a website remember information in your browser. Some are essential for a website to work; others are used for analytics or advertising.
2. What we use
Our public website does not set any cookies, and does not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking. Our fonts and images are hosted on our own servers, so no third party learns about your visit from them.
Our secure sign-in areas use only what is strictly necessary to keep you signed in safely:
| Name | Where | Purpose | Type and duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| uq.admin.session | admin.uqualify.co (staff only) | Keeps an authorised staff member signed in | Session storage, deleted when the browser tab is closed |
| Client portal session | my.uqualify.co (when launched) | Keeps you signed in to your account | Session storage, deleted when the browser tab is closed |
3. Consent
Under the EU ePrivacy rules, as implemented in Cyprus, strictly necessary storage that you need to use a service you have asked for does not require consent. We do not use any other kind. If we ever introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first through a cookie banner, and update this policy.
4. How to control cookies
You can delete stored data and block cookies in your browser settings, for example in Chrome (Settings › Privacy and security), Safari (Settings › Privacy), Firefox (Settings › Privacy & Security) or Edge (Settings › Cookies and site permissions). If you block strictly necessary storage, you will not be able to stay signed in to our secure areas.
